Assignment Location: 24 Railroad Street, Keene, NH (approx 1.5 miles from Cheshire Medical Center)

- Peer recovery support services
- Prevention, including naloxone
- Screening and evaluation
- Supports and services to assist in long-term recovery
- Treatment, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
When you call 211 or visit The Doorway at 24 Railroad Street in Keene, you meet with a staff member who listens without judgment. Some of us have been right where you are right now.
This meeting can happen in person, over the phone, or on a computer. You’ll have space and time to tell your story and explore your needs. We offer support with compassion and acceptance, then help you take the next steps.
We can connect you to support, guidance, and community and can help you access treatment, recovery, and self-sufficiency services.
We can then help you choose the programs and supports that are right for you. We can help you make the phone calls, fill out the forms, and answer questions. We can help with transportation to appointments. We can help talk with your family and loved ones.
We check in with you every day to see how you’re doing. We’ll continue to call as you work your way through recovery.
The Doorway is also a place where you can simply sit and talk. We really listen to you and can be a source of ongoing support—even if you don’t want help right away. The Doorway is always open for you when you are ready.
Traveler Clinician will (including but not limited to):
- Make referrals to MOUD clinic
- Provide Outpatient Counseling
- Patient Load: 5/7 patients days (will fluctuate as The Doorway provides walk in services)
- Clinician will need to become familiar with NH referral resources quickly
- Clinician will provide consults for inpatient and ED at Cheshire Medical
- Patient population: Primarily Adult, with some adoclescence
- Work is on-site only/Remote work is not an option
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Non-Billable Orientation: 0hours
Multipliers (OT, Holiday): 1.25%
ALL medical/occ health compliance items MUST be ordered/collected/resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance for this client. Proofs MUST be uploaded to Trio.
