Title: Temp – Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Nights) Saginaw, MI
Description: Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients’ vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
(50%)* Provides nursing care using the Nursing Process by: Completing nursing assessment of patient and documenting appropriately in the patient chart. Develops a plan of care based upon the assessment of the patient. Implements plan of care and documents in the chart.
(30%)* Evaluates patient’s response to care and updates plan of care.
(20%)* Oversees the delegation of specifics of the patient plan of care to unit staff.
