Description: Registered Nurses are responsible for the assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery. The Registered Nurse provides clinical leadership to the patient care team for the assigned shift. In the holding area, duties include pre-procedure preparation, patient assessment, IV initiation, medication administration, and ensuring patient readiness for procedures. In the lab, responsibilities include assisting with invasive procedures, monitoring hemodynamic status, circulating or scrubbing as needed, and responding to emergent situations. Staff collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care, including post-procedure monitoring, recovery, and discharge education. This role requires critical thinking, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to support high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
