Surgical Services/Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)

(3rd Shift)= 6:00am-6:30pm Friday-Sunday, with occasional scheduled Holidays. May be required to float to other locations.

We are seeking candidates who are experienced with all areas of the department, which include:

• Decontamination of all items (Drills, Davinci, scopes,
• Assembly of all instruments in all service lines (Trauma, loaners, peel packaging included)
• Sterilization process (sterrad and steam)
• HLD/ Scope experience
• Sterile Storage
• OR Liaison experience
• Censitrac Tracking system experience

Will accept either CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM).

OSU is a Level One trauma facility that is extremely busy and requires 3 years of experience in a facility similar to OSU. If you have Candidates that fit this description, please send us the profiles to review.

-Previous permanent staff and return travelers are not eligible.
-Travelers who reach the one-year max contract limit are not eligible for extensions or future assignments.
-Candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the care site address are not eligible. Current contractors who are already within the 50-mile radius may complete their existing contract and extend up to the one-year maximum contract limit.
