Supervisor of Supply Chain

About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Working Manager/Supervisor of Supply Chain to join a small hospital team in Watsonville, CA. This is a contract role for 3 to 6 months, ideal for an experienced supply chain professional and take an active role in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily supply chain and materials management operations within the hospital
Manage inventory levels, purchasing, receiving, and distribution of medical and non-medical supplies
Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to ensure timely and efficient supply support
Supervise and support supply chain staff, providing leadership and on-the-ground problem solving
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and cost control
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:
Proven experience in healthcare supply chain or materials management (hospital setting strongly preferred)
Strong leadership skills with a "working manager” mindset—comfortable with both strategy and execution
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with inventory management systems and supply chain software
Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
