Mental Health Social Worker – Spokane, WA

– Start Date: ASAP
– Contract Length: 13 weeks
– Shift: 5x8hr Days (Mon-Fri; Weekends not required)
– Daily Patient Load: 1:40
– Years of Experience REQ: At least 1 YR of social work experience working with geriatrics in a psychiatric setting and/or short-term acute care inpatient setting
– First-Timers Accepted: Yes
– Weekend REQ: No
– Certs REQ: BLS
– Skills REQ: Case management
– Is on-call REQ? No
– Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No
– Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes; Mon-Fri schedule
– Locals Accepted: Yes; Considered “local” within 50 mile radius, will accept locals at the same rate
– Pending License Accepted: No (License in-hand REQUIRED at time of signature) *LICSW is not required though preferred, but the most important thing is mental health experience with serious mental health disorders*
– RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager
– Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
– Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation and no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation.
– EPIC EMR experience is REQUIRED
– This is a mental health social work case manager role. The candidate needs experience providing direct care to an acute population, similar to a community mental health position. The social worker will ideally have experience with:
• Suicide and safety assessments
• Crisis triage
• Diagnosing mental disorders and identifying best treatment practices
• Geriatric or at least adult mental health and substance use disorder treatment
• Short term treatment methods
