Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)
Day 3×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:00)
Description:
1ST TIMERS OK – LEVEL 3 or 4 – Charge NICU RN – Req 9104
**Please note: All hours logged as Charge will be paid at the applicable Charge pay bump rate**
Will position float between units: Yes per unit needs
Is on-call required? Yes Standby when not needed on unit
Are weekends required? Yes Variable and rotating
Are block schedules required? No
What are expected ratios? 1:3
Special requirements: Level 3 or 4 NICU skills. NICU Charge RN and Delivery/Resuscitation experience; Must be willing to rotate- travelers are not switched frequently. Managers assess the needs each schedule period and decides if it’s necessary to move traveler to a different shift.
Are 48 hours approved: No

*** Please note, it’s common for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets
*** Healthcare professionals may be required to float to other units and facilities in order to meet the needs of PH&S.
Facilities:
Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
*Note for Seaside floating only – If your traveler is booked to a non-Seaside facility and asked to float to Seaside, they will receive ***/hr incentive for hours worked at Seaside in addition to IRS Mileage reimbursement.
If floating consecutive shifts, they will be additionally offered a hotel.
Facility agrees to give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside.
