Shift: Day 4×10-Hour (07:00 – 17:30)

Description:

Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate patient care and reviews/administers patient medications, treatments, and procedures in a safe, effective, and age-appropriate manner that meets the scope of practice and standards of nursing.
• Identifies and pursues expected patient outcomes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Performs a variety of tasks that may include starting IVs, accessing ports, administering medications, moderate sedation, managing vasoactive drips and ventilators on high acuity ICU patients, assisting anesthesia with induction and intubation/extubation (adults/pediatrics).
• Continuously evaluates the patient’s needs, plan of care, and nursing actions, adjusting the plans as required to provide optimum patient outcomes
• Candidate must demonstrate and abide by radiation safety regulations
• Complete documentation of procedure/patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Assist a multidisciplinary team to dynamically prepare and turn over rooms to create an efficient work-flow —
Requirements:

• BLS/ACLS/PALS required
• Experience in IR or other procedural nursing preferred, ICU or ED experience will be considered
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously is a must
no weekend requirement, weekend and weeknight on-call may be required
