Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
Description:
Job Description: ED RN who demonstrates understanding of evidence based practice, knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacological implications, regulatory issues and service line disease process. Accurately and thoroughly documents assessments, performs clinical procedures (IV, Foley, dressings), effective patient and family education, meets standards in proper use of tele monitoring, IV, vent, and safe medication administration. Recognizes changes in patient’s condition. Role models CPMC safety behaviors. Reports errors and daily and near misses Acts as patient advocate. Works independently and as part of the team. Accepts constructive feedback. Maintains professional appearance. Completes tasks in timeframe, accepts duties as assigned. Takes initiative and conducts necessary follow up.
Requirements:
– CA RN Licensure
– BLS (AHA)
– ACLS
– PALS
– 2 years of experience in ED
Shift: 3 x 12 nights; 1930-0730, weekend rotation required, no on call requirement
