EP LAB RN

Shift: 4×10 Days, 08:00-18:30

Call Requirements: Travelers participate in one week of weekday call every two months and one weekend of call every two months. Weekday call is from 6:30 PM–7:00 AM following the regular shift. Weekend call consists of 24-hour coverage. Most call-ins are for pacemaker cases and typically last approximately 2 hours. Call volume is generally low, with travelers rarely called in during weekday call weeks and occasional weekend call-ins based on patient needs.

Skills Req: Epic, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab – Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal, Arrhythmia Induction, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Cardioversion, Conduction Studies, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, Pacemaker Insertion

Parking:
The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. The WMC permit is available monthly.
WMC: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage — ***/month or *** per 100 days.
WB: 9th Avenue East/West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service — ***/year.
CXS: 9th Avenue East/West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 — ***/year.

**Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take 3–5 weeks.

****Education Requirement: Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing, Biology, or Chemistry. If the traveler’s higher education degree is in another field, a high school diploma must be provided.****
