Position / Specialty: RN, Ambulatory
***Pregnancy termination clinic. Staff will assist with procedures in exam room, recovery post procedure for 1st and 2nd trimester terminations.***
Shift: 4x10s, Monday -Thursday (7a-5:30p)
Call Requirements: N/A
Weekend Requirement: N/A
RTO: **Submissions with no RTO within first 4-5 weeks of assignment will be prioritized** 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Cook is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university
•Current License as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois
•Two (2) years of PACU/Endoscopy/Interventional Radiology experience
•One (1) year of experience working directly in a women’s health services program that includes a provision of family planning services
Certs Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Locals accepted: Yes – locals only. Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
Pending License accepted: No
Preferred Qualifications
•Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college or university
•One (1) year of experience working directly in a reproductive health services program that includes a provision of termination procedures
•One (1) year of full-time clinical work experience, including telephone triage and Telehealth Nursing
•Bilingual English/Spanish
