MRI Tech for West Valley Hospital
Education: • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (AMRIT)
•Bachelors or Associates degree preferred.
Experience: • 2 year experience as RT, RDMS or CNMT preferred. Expected to work independently.
Licenses/Certification/ Registration: • Must be licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) as a licensed practitioner of MRI (temporary license is acceptable)
• BLS from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
Special knowledge, skills, & abilities: • Must be capable of operating state of the art MRI equipment and computer systems, film processors, and other technical supportive devices
• Must have good interpersonal communication skills; appropriate manner, conduct and grooming.
• Must have the ability to hold in confidence any information about patients, personnel or other information of a confidential nature
