Shift: Day 4×10-Hour (07:30 – 17:30)
Description:
Dosimetrist
At least the first 6-7 work days must be onsite
The assignment can be REMOTE or ONSITE – depends on preference
4x10s Hours are flexible – can be variable between 0630-1830
Must have strong skills in MIM and open to working with Teams and OneDrive
REQUIRED: Certification in Medical Dosimetry through the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) -OR- Receipt of certification in Medical Dosimetry through the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD)
4 years of clinical experience performing radiation therapist treatment planning.
Eclipse, Mosaiq, MIM, and Microsoft Teams / Excel experience
Dosimetrist is familiar with the technical characteristics of the radiotherapy platform and has training/expertise necessary to design, develop and implement radiotherapy plans by means of computer and/or manual computation. The Dosimetrist supports and implements safe patient care practices, and is cognizant of and supports the Hospital and the department’s mission statements. The medical dosimetrist must accurately transfer and document treatment parameters either manually or electronically. Written and oral communication skills are required
