Skills: Adult Acute Care Settings, Emergency Department Settings. Equipment: PACS and Siemens. Abdomen and Pelvis: Abdomen without and/or with contrast; Pelvis without and/or with contrast. Chest: Chest without and/or with contrast; Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta). Head and Neck: Head without and/or with contrast. Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs. Special Procedures: Brain perfusion, Vascular CTA. Spine and Musculoskeletal: Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, Thoracic. Additional Skills: Visage

Certs: ARRT (CT), BLS

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: ARRT (R), Work Settings: Adult Outpatient, Level I Trauma. Abdomen and Pelvis: Enterography study, Intravenous pyelogram. Chest: Heart (e.g., calcium scoring, coronary angiography), Head and Neck: Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head. Special Procedures: Aspirations, Biopsies, Colonography or virtual Colonography, CT arthrography, Drainage, Myelography. Additional Skills: EKGs / Portables

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: General CT procedures

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Most CT exams can be performed here. Stroke accredited. Main caseload is ED patients with all types of diagnoses. 50 inpatient rooms, 22 ED rooms. Currently high census for the past month. X-Ray Procedures
PREFERRED: Extremities, Abdomen/GI, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Lower & Upper Extremities

Required to help move patients to and from stretcher for all modalities. Also required to transport patients for all modalities if applicable.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Transcribed 04.02.24 gm and 128 slice Siemens Edge Plus

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Epic

SCHEDULING TYPE: Manager determines.

UNIT ORIENTATION: 16-24 hrs in addition to NH orientation need 16-24 facility

SCRUBS: Royal Blue
