Shift: Day 4×10-Hour (07:30 – 18:00)
Description:
Electrophysiology Lab Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist.
Must be a rad tech and have a good amount of EP Lab experience.
4 x 10hr shifts
0730-1800
RTs must be able to circulate and scrub EP ablations and device placements. Many people have experience with devices only—ablations are a must. Specifics listed below.
Role for an RT in EP at OHSU:
• Pull supplies for each case
• Setup scrub table for ablation and device implant procedures
• Drape patient
• Scrub in with MD for venous and arterial access
• Scrub transeptal ablations
• Pull sheaths and hold manual pressure or assist with z-stitch/closure device
• Run xray
• Get patient ready when on table with RN (and EPT)
• Scrub generator device changes
Required:

Current ARRT credential and OBMI license required
BLS, ACLS
2 years of Cath lab experience
Main Campus and SW Waterfront
Call is required
PALS and pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
No weekend shifts, just weekend call.
Call requirement: week nights 1800-0730, weekends Friday 1800 to Monday 0730; currently taking 1 night per week and 1 full weekend per month
The Cardiac Cath Lab Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist (CV RTR) performs a variety of technical functions and patient care activities intraprocedure. The primary function of the CV RTR is the operation of fluoroscopy in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: monitoring procedures, scrubbing procedures, unit development projects, assisting with supply and equipment management/stocking, and other duties as assigned. Cath Lab CV RTR staff may be cross trained to EP procedures and support those cases as needed. The Cath CV RTR may be trained to assist in TAVR and TMVR procedures in the SOR Hybrid OR room.
