The Respiratory Therapist is a valuable member of the healthcare team who demonstrates knowledge, skill, and professionalism when interacting with peers and patients. The RT must be able to provide age-appropriate care to a diversified patient population. This individual must demonstrate knowledge of hospital policies and procedures as well as the AARC standards of practice. There is no call-schedule as this facility has 24 hour respiratory coverage. 
Under the direction of practitioners and the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Clinical Supervisor, provides therapeutic and diagnostic cardiopulmonary services in accordance with practitioner prescriptions and policies set forth by the 25 bed Critical Access hospital and the Cardiopulmonary Department.
