The Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics Registered Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned obstetrics patients. S/he carries out these responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards. Looking for daily challenges and endless learning opportunities? Candidate will be cross trained in all aspects of obstetrical care within the Birthing Suite. You will work alongside a well established OB/GYN and pediatric group in a collaborative team environment and will assess, plan, organize, supervise, provide and evaluate nursing care utilizing the nursing process.

  • EMR Experience a MUST!  
  • AWHONN Required
  • 8 Bed Unit
  • Ratio – 1:1 (active labor)
  • 1:2/3 for Mother/Baby
  • NO OR/C-Section knowledge required
