  1. Negotiate Member’s contracts, as necessary;
  2. Interact with Member vendors and departments regarding sourcing, pricing, contracting, purchasing, and related issues;
  3. Assist Member with contract compliance as it pertains to pricing and service levels;
  4. Develop process and technology implementation strategies;
  5. Document and communicate the savings success and engage end users in needed process change or product conversion projects;
  6. Issue bids, requests for information, and requests for products;
  7. Maintain relationships with suppliers;
  8. Perform sourcing and contract set-ups for information technology, construction, projects, grants, and public health portfolio;
  9. Serve as point of contact for applicable department(s);
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with clinicians, operational business leaders, external service providers, and key suppliers to develop the collaboration necessary for spend and performance optimization;
  11. Align Member with best qualifying tier(s) or contract options based on available agreements; and
  12. Collaborate with relevant service line leaders to help ensure successful initiatives where conversion is required.
