This department may include all clinical laboratory functions, including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Immunology, Microbiology, and Reproductive Medicine. It also includes phlebotomy, processing and AH patient reference lab work sendout/handling. Do not include anatomic pathology, blood bank functions or administration/support functions supporting the laboratory. If your lab is cross functional with clinical lab and blood bank combined, please notify FP&A so that the proper benchmark can be applied to your department.
