-This role could be either sitting at the front desk greet patients, checking in, managing the front desk when patients enter OR it could be the back office receptionist desk checking patients out, scheduling follow up appointments, etc. Candidates must present well, speak professionally, have a positive attitude and welcoming demeanor.
-Interviews will be onsite or Team’s. Will confirm with manager when manager identifies candidates to interview.
-Dress code is business casual.
-Once a candidate is booked, the agency will receive a compliance checklist with all onboarding requirements. Please note this role may require a full compliance which includes clinical onboarding requirements, drug screen, background check, work history verification, and education verification.
-Covid is required but medical and/or religious exemptions are accepted.
-Flu is required and **declinations are not accepted, only Medical exemptions are allowed & they must be signed by healthcare provider.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under direct supervisor of the Office Manager, this role is responsible for the admin/clerical duties to assist with this cardiology office running efficiently. There are 6-8 Providers at this office. It’s very busy and high volume. This Admin Asst must be able to keep their composure during high volume times, greet patients with a smile, assist with getting appointments scheduled, follow ups scheduled, follow up with patients via phone if they have questions, assist with ordering office supplies, checking out patients, assisting with medical requests, helping to get patients to the right phone line if procedures need to get scheduled, etc. Candidates for this role are being considered for conversion so they must be loyal and engaged to accept an offer when being submitted to this role. JOB REQUIREMENTS;
At least 12 months of admin/clerical experience from a medical office environment is required and must be visible on resume.
Epic is highly preferred but not required.
