Title: ADI Cloud Infrastructure Architect
Location: Lutz, FL 33549
Duration: 06 Months with possible extension
Position Type: 100% On-site

Cloud Infrastructure Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and experience across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS). This role will support a large-scale, vendor-developed project by reviewing proposed cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, and providing technical guidance and approvals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of cloud infrastructure solutions, primarily in Azure, with consideration for multi-cloud strategies.
  • Evaluate and review vendor-proposed cloud solutions, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical oversight and approval for cloud infrastructure components including:
  • Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • Containerized workloads (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendor teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions into the existing enterprise architecture.
  • Define and enforce cloud governance, security best practices, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Support cloud migration efforts, including workload assessment, planning, and execution.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Working knowledge of AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Expertise in cloud workload design, VM provisioning, container orchestration, and IaC.
  • Experience reviewing and validating third-party/vendor solutions.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, identity management, and monitoring in cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in regulated industries such as utilities, healthcare, or finance
