What are expected ratios? 1:1
Special requirements: BLS/ACLS, PALS, NRP – with delivery attendance experience and neonatal intubation. We have only a 4 bed ICU and we do not have a NICU or PICU. We do get peds pts in our ED (thus the PALS requirement) and we attend 75% of the deliveries (ends up at maybe a couple per day) and are considered the front line for infant intubation in our Birth Center, should the need arise thus the NRP requirement. The volume of neonatal intubations is <10/year so infrequent but still an expectation of the role.
