Job Description: Competently performs routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce quality images to physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease.

-ARMRIT or ARRT R
-ARRT MR
– Venipuncture
– BLS

Shift Specification: 3 x 12s, start times will vary between 630a to 1030a; will usually be one Saturday and one Sunday a month. On Call is optional but not required. Floating required as needed

The technologist will work across four imaging locations within the CPMC imaging network. All MRI equipment is manufactured by Client HealthCare. The practice includes multiple 3T MRI systems located at the hospital campuses and a 1.5T MRI system located in an outpatient imaging center. MRI software platforms vary across sites and include versions 23, 26, 30.1, and 31.

This is a high-volume, diverse MRI practice offering a wide range of exams and procedures. Studies performed include, but are not limited to:

– Cardiac MRI
– Body MRI
– Musculoskeletal MRI
– Neuro MRI
– Breast MRI
– MRI-guided breast biopsy
– Pelvic MRI
– Interventional MRI procedures
– Prostate ablation and prostate imaging

This list is not all-inclusive, and candidates should be comfortable performing a broad spectrum of advanced MRI examinations across multiple patient populations.
