Interim Value Analysis Coordinators will provide the following services:
1. Stakeholder Communication and Support
- Foster effective working relationships with clinical staff, physicians, and supply chain teams through professional and consistent communication.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical departments and the Value Analysis team to gather input and support project coordination.
- Support the facilitation of Value Analysis team meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Assist in preparing presentations, status updates, and project summaries for use with internal stakeholders.
2. Product and Service Review Coordination
- Collect and organize information on new product requests, technology introductions, and service evaluations submitted by clinical departments.
- Work with internal teams to prepare and analyze utilization, cost, and benchmarking data to support evaluation and decision-making.
- Coordinate trial or pilot processes for new products, capturing feedback from end users and tracking operational impact.
- Support the execution of product conversions and implementations by coordinating communications and logistical planning with stakeholders.
3. Quality, Safety, and Standardization Support
- Assist in the documentation and review of clinical evidence, quality data, and best practice literature for products and services under evaluation.
- Collaborate with the Value Analysis Director to promote standardization initiatives aligned with clinical needs and evidence-based practice.
- Monitor compliance with organizational product standards and support issue resolution for non-standard product use.
4. Financial and Operational Data Support
- Partner with data analytics teams to collect and validate product cost, utilization, and savings data.
- Prepare summary reports and dashboards to support Value Analysis meetings and decision-making processes.
- Track and report on project savings, product utilization changes, and operational impacts.
5. Project Coordination and Process Improvement
- Support the planning and execution of assigned value analysis projects and product-related initiatives.
- Identify potential barriers to implementation and escalate issues to the Value Analysis Director or project lead as appropriate.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize product evaluation workflows, data collection, and reporting practices.
- Engage in professional development and continuous learning to maintain knowledge of clinical trends, product changes, and value analysis methodologies.
