- Patient Ratio: 8 bay unit with up to 17 patients per day
- Dress code: Hospital provided scrubs
- Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
Responsible for admission and discharge of surgical/procedure patients, to include nursing admission assessments, Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care. Must have strong assessment, IV, and patient education skills, be able to multitask well and communicate with all team members (nursing and physician colleagues.) Prefer a candidate with PACU/ICU experience. Time management and customer service skills essential.
This role is in the Same Day Surgery Center. This role will mostly be PACU, but they will need to step into the OR to assist as needed. The
Surgical Services department has 2 operating rooms and a procedure room. We
provide mostly outpatient procedures with limited inpatient. We provide care to
patients ages 16 and older.
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED. NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Local Travelers – Those who reside within 50 miles of the facility – are not eligible for this need.

Call-back, Holiday and OT multipliers: 1.25%
