- Description
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in a hospice setting according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Requirements
Variable Shift, hospice can be weekends and after hours, mileage is in addition to rate. Charting system is Home Care Home Base. Knowledge of Oasis, data collection. MUST have Home Care Hospice experience, 1 yr acute care required.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
Hospice nursing experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
Valid Driver?s License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) or RQIBLS or Heartsaver CPR (CPR): Required
