Registered Nurse/Radiation Oncology

Shift: Day 5×8-Hour (07:00 – 15:30)
Day 4×10-Hour (07:00 – 17:30)

Description:

Job Title: RN James Rad Onc – Days(8s & 10s) Schedule to be discussed/determined in interview.

First Time travelers: NO
Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
Must have EPIC experience.
Patient Age Group: Adults, Geriatrics

Schedule: No set/blocked scheduling. Self-schedule requests accepted to accommodate preferred schedules before finalizing.
Orientation: First week: Mon-Fri dayshift. Second week: 36 hours of on-unit orientation with a preceptor.

Certifications Required:
• BLS

Certifications Preferred:
• ACLS
•ONS Chemo Cert

Skills Required:
• IV Therapy/Infusions
• Neutropenic precautions
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Tracheostomy care/management
• Radiation safety precautions
• Wound Care
• Symptom management
