Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend
Certification Requirements:
CA RN License
BLS
ACLS
Experience:
Travel Experience – 1 year
Nursing Experience – 3 years
Specialized in:
General, Ortho, Vascular, Trauma, Neuro
Job Duties:
Plans, manages and coordinates the professional nursing care delivered to surgical patients; provides specialized care and treatment; directs and supervises the ancillary nursing personnel; works in collaboration with all members of the health team; scrubs or circulates surgical cases; maintains AORN standards of professional nursing practice.
– Ability to make fine discrimination in sound
– Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances
– Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances
– Handles emergency or crisis situations
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations.
– OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk)
Assist with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds.
