Registered Nurse/Operating Room

Shift: Day 3×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30)
Day 4×10-Hour (06:00 – 23:00)

Description:

Position: Day/Evening Rotating Nurse (combination of 8, 10, and, 12-hour shifts to equate 40 hrs/week)
D/E rotating, call as needed, weekend as needed. Not guaranteed 4 10s.

We prefer RNs rated 3-4 in neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotics (Da-Vinci). Experience in oncology is also preferred.

Monday to Friday:
Shift options: 06:30 – 17:00, 6:30 – 19:00 or 10:30 – 20:30

This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, which may be fulfilled through one of the following schedule options:

Four 10-hour shifts (4x10s)
Five 8-hour shifts (5x8s)
Two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts (2x8s 2x12s)

*Please note that the schedule will be a combination of the above three shift options and will vary based on unit need.*

Call: typically, staff sign up for 2-3/4-week schedule period. Depending on the shift, it may be requested to pick up the following calls-

Evening-1500-2300
Night 2300-0700
Weekend 0700-1900, 1900-0700

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience required
BCLS certification required
Required skills: Circulate and scrub experience
EPIC experience required

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care in a day/evening rotating schedule.
Assist with circulating and scrubbing as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
