Registered Nurse/Operating Room

Shift: Day 4×10-Hour (12:00 – 22:30)

Description:

Position / Specialty: RN Operating Room
Shift: 4x10s, 12p-1030p, No block scheduling
Call Requirements: One 12 hour shift a month on a Saturday or Sunday, 7A-7P or 7P-7A. There is no week-day call.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend / 2 weekends per month
RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Cook is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.
Guaranteed Hours: 40

Years of experience REQ: Resource must have 2 years of recent acute care experience in the OR
Required Experience: Level 1 Trauma Experience; RN must have strong scrub and circulate skills; Experience in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, General Surgery
Preferred Experience: Neurosurgery (crani and spine), Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric and Gynecology
Certs REQ: BLS
Locals accepted: Yes -locals preferred. Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
Pending License accepted: No
