Registered Nurse/MICU

Job Title: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse –
Schedule: 3×12’s / 36 Hours / D/N
Schedule rotates every 4 weeks or 4weeks days/4weeks nights

Estimated Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience.

EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Certifications Required:
• BCLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• AHA Certifications only

Skills Required:
• Proficient in IV start
• Experience with telemetry
• Competency with ventilators

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Proficiency in EPIC documentation system

Specialized Experience in:
• Multisystem Organ Failure
• Respiratory Failure
• COVID
• Sepsis
• Post-Cardiac Arrest
• Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
• Liver Failure
• Renal Failure

Special Procedures/Unit Details:
• Continuous Glucose Monitoring for Hyperglycemia
• Externalized IV Pumps for COVID Patients

Special Equipment Knowledge:
• NxStage CRRT
• Alaris IV Pump
• Client Cardiac Monitor
• Client Ventilator
• Boom Lift in Each Patient Room

Refunds: Annual permits may qualify for a prorated refund for unused future months. Current and prior months are not refundable. To request a refund, complete the CampusParc Return Request Form or visit a CampusParc Customer Care Center. Refund checks typically take 3–5 weeks. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next month’s charge.
