Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
Description:
Job Description: Follows clearly defined procedures to provide support to Obstetricians, surgical scrub techs, registered nurses, and Charge Nurses for the execution of care and procedures performed in the LDRP setting. Integrates education, technical competence and patient interaction skills to execute safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care. May be responsible for mentoring and training students.
Requirements:
– CA RN Licensure
– BLS (AHA)
– ACLS
– AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
– NRP Certification
– Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
Shift: 3 x 12 Days 0700-1930, every other weekend, no call required.
