Patient Care Technician – Portland, OR
– Start Date: ASAP
– Shift: 5 x 8hr; Thursday – Monday DAYS
– Ratios: 1:15-25
– Years of Experience REQ: 1 year of prior experience working with seniors required
– First-Timers Accepted: No
– Weekend REQ: Every weekend
– Certs REQ: BCLS
– Is On-Call REQ?: No
– Will this traveler need to float between like units?: No
– Open to accommodating block schedule?: Yes
– Locals Accepted: Yes; Considered “local” within 50 mile radius, will accept locals at the same rate
– Pending License Accepted: *No License is required for this role*
– RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager
– Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)

Special Requirements
– Traveler is expected to have reliable transportation and no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation.
– QuickMAR experience preferred but not required

Daily Responsibilities
– Assists as needed in providing or assisting geriatric participants/residents with personal care including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming with minimal support and supervision.
– Schedules and coordinates tasks to be performed by other PCTs, in cooperation with other housing and clinic staff.
– Participates in participant/resident orientation to the ElderPlace facility
– Provides input and information for service/care plans
