Job Title: Supply Chain Equipment Tech
Location: Lafayette, LA (Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center)
Position Type: Local, 100% on-site
Schedule: Full-time | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Duration: 12 weeks
Weekly Hours: 40
Start Date: ASAP
Important Call Outs:
Must be able to read and write English.
Rotating weekends and holidays required.
Required Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Minimum of six (6) months of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping/receiving, materials management, stocking, or a related distribution environment required.
Certifications:
None specified.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and write English.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and distribute supplies and equipment to various hospital departments.
Receive materials, equipment, and supplies delivered to the receiving area.
Inspect bills of lading and visually inspect incoming shipments.
Maintain supply and equipment par levels.
Restock and rotate supplies.
Decontaminate reusable medical supplies and equipment.
Assist with inventory processes and cycle counts.
Process and deliver special requests.
Perform general housekeeping duties in assigned areas.
