IT Category Manager(Healthcare)

Summary:
Responsible for sourcing and managing all IT-related products and services — including hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity, and consulting — to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and alignment with hospital goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute IT sourcing strategies for the hospital.

• Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation, and renewals.

• Partner with IT, Finance, and Legal to manage budgets and ensure compliance (HIPAA, HITECH).

• Track supplier performance and identify cost savings opportunities.

• Stay current on technology trends impacting healthcare operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, or IT (Master’s preferred).

• 5 years in procurement or category management, with IT focus.

• Healthcare or hospital sourcing experience preferred.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
